Recall respects your privacy. Your saves and reminders belong to you — they stay private to your account and are never sold to third parties.
Data we collect
To provide the app, we store information you create and need to sign in:
What we avoid
Authentication
Recall uses Supabase to authenticate users and securely store your account data and library. When you sign in (for example with email or Apple), Supabase manages credentials and session tokens so your data stays tied to your account and syncs across your devices.
Access to your saves is restricted to your authenticated account. Recall uses Supabase to authenticate users and store account data.
Analytics
Recall uses PostHog to understand how the product is used so we can improve reliability and experience. Our implementation is intentionally limited and privacy-focused:
Reminders
If you choose to enable notifications, Recall can send local reminders about saves you’ve scheduled to revisit. Notification permission is optional and controlled in iOS Settings.
Reminder timing and related content stay associated with your account so reminders work as you configured them. You can change or remove reminders inside the app at any time, and you can revoke notification access system-wide whenever you like.
Your rights
You can delete your Recall account at any time from Profile → Privacy → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and associated Recall data.
If you experience any issues deleting your account, contact us at GetRecall@outlook.com.
